The Creek

Well as many of you may well know Ash Creek has been renamed and re vamped! Now called The Creek, they have updated their menu, added some TVs, dart boards, and opened up the bar area!!

The new menu is phenomenal! While I was there last night I tried the lobster sliders and the mac n cheese with bbq rib tips...WOW. Thats really all I can say about that, I will be sure to go there again this weekend to try something new!

So be sure to check out The Creek this weekend and try something from their new menu, and let them know you heard it hear first....the food is amazing!!

Bridgeport's Hockey Street Party

Webster Bank Arena and the Bridgeport Regional Business Council is hosting a Fan Fest before Saturday night's NCAA east regional hockey game at Webster Bank Arena. The party kicks off at 4 pm and the city is closing Main Street under I-95 outside the arena. Food! Music! Beer! Good times!

Fishermen take notice!

The CT Dept of Energy and Environmental Protection announced some changes to recreational marine fishing for 2012.


Black Sea Bass:

• Season: June 15 to Dec. 31
• Minimum size: 13”
• Limit: 15 fish per person

Scup:

• Season: May 1 to Dec. 31
• Minimum size: 10.5”
• Limit: 20 fish per person

Summer Flounder (Fluke):

• Season: May 15 to Oct. 31
• Minimum size: 18”
• Limit: 5 fish per person

Bridgeport Bluefish

Bluefish To Hold Open Player Tryout

Want to give your baseball career one last shot?? The Bridgeport Bluefish announced that open tryouts for the team will be held at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard on Sunday, April 15th from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, with a live on field scrimmage following the tryout.  

Personally I've traded in the baseball gear for softball gear but the registration fee of only $75 is tempting to get out on a pro diamond and participate in drills and a live scrimmage.

 

Juke Box Hero's

FOREIGNER, one of the biggest rock bands of the 70's and 80's is still rocking and coming to THE KLEIN this Saturday February 18th at 8pm.
